Understanding the Moderator role helps you decide who to invite and how to structure your team's workflow.

Full permissions list

Moderators can: view all reviews and their sync status, generate AI reply drafts, edit reply drafts, post replies to Google, view SMS review request history, send new SMS review requests, generate GBP post captions, publish and schedule GBP posts, and view usage and activity reporting.

What Moderators cannot do

Moderators cannot: access Settings or Billing, invite or remove team members, disconnect or reconnect the Google Business Profile integration, change the SMS template, view or modify account credentials, or cancel the subscription.

Comparing Admin vs. Moderator

Admins have full access to all features and settings, including billing and team management. Moderators have access to all customer-facing features โ€” reviews, posts, SMS โ€” but no access to account configuration. For most team members helping with day-to-day reputation management, Moderator access is the right level.

Revoking moderator access

To revoke a Moderator's access, go to Settings > Team, find their name in the list, and click Remove. Access is revoked immediately โ€” they will be signed out on their next request. All actions they took while a Moderator remain in your account history.
